On a beautiful February day, I took a thirty minute drive to Van Wert, Ohio. I love driving on Highway 127, and had some ample time to relax and enjoy the drive there. When I arrived at The 1898 Venue, I was immediately greeted by Molly of Molly and Clover Design. Molly and Ashley of Ashley Vandervelde Photography hosted this incredible shoot. This was my very first editorial styled shoot and it did not disappoint!
Molly did the floral design and the stationary design, but the Shell Place Cards are courtesy of Shells by Shea. We started taking photos of the details and the the beautiful charcuterie set up, courtesy of The Charcuterie Shop. Once we were done with details photos, we got to enjoy some food and some of the baked goods from Sassie Cakes and J Pops. Emma & Jamison (Our Bride and Groom), Maria, and Molly’s Husband, Chris, modeled for us. Maria’s Bridesmaid Dress is from Rent the Runway. Ashley actually custom made Emma’s statement dress herself! Emma’s Hair and Makeup came from the incredible artistry that is Liv Makeup Artistry, Awaken Sonder, and Meraki Beauty Lounge. The Bride and groom’s rings are from the highly esteemed Fairfields Fort Wayne. This day was filled with so many fun moments including a first look, a staged ceremony, plenty of time for portraits, and a wedding champagne tower!
At the very end of the shoot, we wrapped up by taking a few photos outside of The 1898 Wedding Venue. I truly had so much fun at this shoot and felt so creatively inspired, just what my heart needed.
