After a bad winter storm, I trekked to my hometown of Lima, Ohio to take some photos of Allanah and Cody in their new home!

Allanah is the the owner of Whimsically Warm, a midwest custom stationary and calligraphy company that specializes in weddings. I finally got to photograph her work at my last wedding. Allanah and I go even further back than just the wedding industry as we have known each other since high school!

Allanah and I were NOT friends in high school. She was popular and I was well… obnoxious as I high schooler. Allanah and I both played the flute in band and that was a competitive thing for us as you were placed in chairs based on skill level. However, one thing I really valued about our time in band together is we were both section leaders in band our senior year of high school. I had a little more skill in playing and Allanah was far better at marching than me, so we really balanced each other out!

After high school, we really didn’t talk, but once Allanah started her business I started seeing her on the internet more. We ended up reconnecting and the rest is history! I am thankful to know such a talented and kind business owner!!

Allanah happened to win a contest for a free 30 minute shoot which is how we were able to meet up again to capture these images! Enjoy these images from their beautiful and aesthetic new home!
